Being Young, being Christian, and being Professional is truly a privilege and an honor. The fact that God pulled a young man like Stan Frankart out of a life of gangs, drugs, violence, and incarceration is testament that being a Christian is more than just something we do, it who gentlemen like Stan Frankart are! The saving grace of God allowed Stan Frankart, Bobby Johnson, and Alfred Cleveland to turn their prison experience into hope, into purpose, and into preparation. God gave them Young Christian Professionals and a vision to carry on His redemptive process to urban areas where others don't want to go, like Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus, and also the very trenches of prison. With the Gospel of Jesus Christ these 3 men believe and trust that God will change the course of the lives that come through the rigorous, intense, intentional, entrepreneurial, and hands on Curriculum of Young Christian Professionals. As a matter of fact, God has shown them He is using Young Christian Professionals to change lives through statistics. Out of the 20 men who have graduated the program and came home from prison, 16 of them, have remained employed, found stable living, and have been law abiding citizens for 18 months are more. That's an 80% success rate. The truth is, that the success rate isn't in the hands of the founders, it's in the eternal nature of Jesus Christ who is keeping these men on the path of purposeful, productive, and positive living. Those who founded the curriculum just allowed God to lead their steps towards this vision and He has so far, fulfilled His promise to them. "Together we change the course of history as we allow God to order our steps and direct how we redeem His creation" Young Christian Professionals president and co-founder stated when asked, "How does reentry change from here?". Stan Frankart truly believes that he Young Christian Professionals couldn't be what it is without those who God brings to fund, advance, and help carry out this vision from God. "God didn't design us to do life by ourselves. He created us for community, just as He dwells in the Triune community of Himself, and with the community of humanity His creation" says Stan Frankart. "Although we have been blessed by those whose hearts have been touched by God to give to Young Christian Professionals, we also realize we are still a long way off of being able to really position men who come home from prison to live a fulfilling, stable, and productive life. Young Christian Professionals is still in much need for financial provisions" noted Stan Frankart when asked, "What's one thing you need from the community around you?" Young Christian Professionals is inviting all those involved with Reentry to donate to this ministry to redeem and better their communities. Young Christian Professionals isn't just a local, backyard non-profit. Young Christian Professionals is nationwide and has touched every community from Cincinnati to Cleveland, in Ohio through Young Christian Professionals who have graduated and been dispatched into their community. "We are a nonprofit organization that can use your help and as an incentive, you can write it off as a tax write off. We have some things God has given us that we are attempting to unroll in the next 3 years. Our target is $50,000 that will help employ over 200 Restored Citizens in Ohio and provide over $400,000 per year I'm tax dollars to Ohio." Stan Frankart knows what God is directing Young Christian Professionals to, but also knows that without the help of the community, plans are just good thoughts that could have been beneficial. To donate to Young Christian Professionals you can donate via check/money order made out to Young Christian Professionals and send it to 188 W. Third St. Mansfield, Ohio 44903 or send it via Cash App to $JesusID. No matter what you can give, all help is appreciated and will benefit more lives than you think! 200 employees could impact potentially 600 lives and serve over 100,000 people in a community.

We have moved past this idea that truth is relative, in our Judeo-Christian culture. Today, people don't say, "Your truth is not my truth" nor do they say, "My truth may not be your truth". No longer is truth determined by what we ourselves perceive to be true. Actually, it's gotten worse. We are now officially in what's called the "Expressive Individualism" times. This is the place where we as a culture agree that truth is now not unknowable, but rather it's found within us! The problem with this theory is that if we truly believe we can look inside of ourselves to find truth, we'll see that not only will it still be "my truth" but also, it will be just as corrupt, wicked, deceitful, and evil as we are! Jeremiah 17:9 says, "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?" Then Jeremiah states in the next verse, "But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives". We will never find absolute, authentic truth looking within. It is only found by accepting, embracing, and living in response to what God says in His Word. The fact is that truth starts by acknowledging the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the reality of our need for a Savior. It's not us who leads us into truth, it is the Spirit of the Living God, who died for us even though He didn't deserve it and rose again that we too may have newness of life, this thing we call being reborn or born of the Spirit and all we have to do is believe! If we are looking for truth in ourselves, we will deceive ourselves into believing a lie. However, if we look to God and understand what allows Him to be absolute truth, is the fact He is Holy and we are not. It is by His way, that we find The truth, and that we can live The Life He called us to. So even though we are in a Post-Relativism world right now, we know that the message of Bible is just as relevant as it's even been!

What if the greatest gift we ever received wasn't something we hold with our hands, it's Who we held in our hearts? What if this gift was given simply by belief and because we simply believed, that gift never stopped giving, meeting, and supplying all our other needs? But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. (2 Corinthians 4:7) We have access to this gift by faith in Jesus Christ and His perfect work in which He died to pay our debt of sin, rising on the 3rd day not for us to go on sinning, but to empower us, enable us, and equip us to live a life that is not enslaved to our fleshly desires of sin by coming into our hearts to live and dwell as God the Holy Spirit! This is the gift of God not of works of our own, so that no man can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you desire this gift you heard about above, I encourage you to turn away from the ways of yourself and turn to The Way, The Truth, and The Life a man named Jesus who was God in Human Form, walked this earth just like you and me yet never once lived, cheated, committed any form of sin, yet died for us and rose again to give us new life - a life of peace with God even though we deserved God's wrath and judgment. God loved us enough to pay the debt He died not owe, to give us newness of life we did not deserve and He made that way available to everyone! No discrimination can be found at the foot of the Cross! That is a gift that beats all other gifts we could ever receive and this is a gift that no human hands can ever hold. It's a gift from the heart of God only to be received by the heart of man, through faith!

One of the most beautifully challenging truths in Christianity is that our feelings are not our identity. James chapter 1 verses 5-8 says, "5If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 6But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do" What truth there is in this verse! So many of us battle with the term "equanimity" which is the ability to remain emotionally composed and stable despite what is happening around us. Yet James stated that if we don't place our faith in God alone we will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea. Depending on emotions to interpret life, is definitely allowing feelings to shape our worldview, both in and out of the church. Emotionalism shows up on Sunday church services with expressions like, "I FEEL the Spirit in this place" or "I really FELT that sermon today, God must have been speaking to me." The Word of God is what determines our view, whether we FEEL it or not. And equanimity is the evidence of that. Whether we feel like the Spirit is present or not, the Bible is clear that God's Holy Spirit dwells in earthen vessels - US and that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Whether or not we FEEL the sermon, God is speaking to us, right we are! Why? Because the Word of God declares it. So today, as men and women of God, let's find some equanimity and not be like the waves of the ocean, letting out feelings toss us around and guide us through life. Let's allow the Word of God to govern our lives and be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalms 119:105)
